Drippy icecream cones

I know it’s not exactly icecream season but I like eating icecream all year round. Here’s a handy tip to prevent melting icecream from dripping out of the cone and all down your arm!

Stuff a miniature marshmallow in the bottom of a cone to prevent ice-cream drips and for a nice treat right at the end.

Love Food Hate Waste

My latest pledge is with the Love Food Hate Waste (LFHW) campaign, launched earlier this month by the Waste and Resources Action Programme (WRAP). Now this is a campaign close to my heart! I’ve often mentioned my thrifty tendencies and my dislike of waste, and the LFHW campaign aims to encourage us to waste less food and help our bank accounts at the same time. Sounds good to me!
