If you accidentally over-salt a dish, while it’s still cooking, drop in a raw potato slice.
I haven’t tried this one, as it’s been a while since I over-salted a dish, but I imagine the raw potato absorbs the extra salt whilst it cooks. Let me know if you try the tip, I’d be really interested to know if it works!
