I dream of my own kitchen garden. I would love to be able to grow most of my own fruit and vegetables, and eat them as fresh as possible, straight from the garden! I have dabbled a little in the past, growing my own herbs and chillies but I have a long way to go yet.

I love trying new foods and my foraging discoveries are no exception. Finding free foods is a delight to me and the latest addition to my wild foods repertoire are Dandelions.

The Food Without Fear campaign is in full swing and is really helping to raise awareness for coeliac and gluten-intolerant sufferers, to enable them (us!) to eat out without worry. During my research into this subject I have discovered a really great website: Gluten-free On-the-go, a coeliac friendly guide to restaurants, hotels and more!

A little while ago, I was raving about Jamie Oliver’s new book, Jamie at home, and I’ve been dying to try this recipe ever since! The recipe is seasonal and one of the main ingredients is fresh pasta - a perfect opportunity to use my pasta machine, and try out the gluten free Orgran Pasta flour I just received from lovely Sue at Naturally Good Food.
