Or Trig, as he’s fondly known is such a lovely young man! An up-coming chef with so much potential. I’ve been following Trig’s adventures for well over a year now via his blog and he has a great passion for food!
My first introduction to Aidan Brooks: Trainee Chef, was a heartfelt Christmas message from Christmas day ‘06. His comments about Portugal tickled my curiosity, so I followed the link to Aidan’s blog, and I’ve been a dedicated visitor ever since.
Aidan shares my love of Portuguese food and has a great insight into the culture which can be a fairly traditional way of life. At the same time as appreciating the ‘old ways’, his heart is firmly locked on the future, he adores innovative and imaginative foods.
This love of creativity and determination to be among the best, has led him so far, to Michelin starred Comerç24 in Barcelona, Spain. Under the renowned Carles Abellan, he’s almost half way through his year there and it sounds like he’s having a great time!
Recently Aidan gave an interview to Laura from Trusted Places and talks about his passion for food, his inspirations and his blog. I always wondered what he sounded like! A great close look at the man behind the blog!
So, make sure you watch the video, check out Aidan’s great blog and if you just happen to be going to Barcelona, why not pop in to Comerç24 and share some tapas. I am sure Trig would love to see you and don’t forget to say hello from me!
