We’ve received exciting updates about the Chicken Out campaign!
News from Hugh Fearnley Whittingstall
I thought you’d like to know that I’m going to be a guest on Jonathan Ross’ TV show on Friday (Friday Night with Jonathan Ross, BBC1 at 10.40pm, 30th November) - and I’ll be asking him, his audience and friends to sign up to the campaign.
I’d like you to ask your friends to support the campaign too - and give it a real push. We’re doing really well on numbers now, and have added a new set of features to www.chickenout.tv.
These include:
A ‘pledgeometer’, which counts each time a new supporter signs up to the campaign
A new forum, which you can use to discuss the issues surrounding this campaign
‘Free Range Review’ - a facility which helps you search for your nearest suppliers of free range produce. You can even add your local suppliers to the site, and review those you’ve visited.
Don’t forget there’s a form on the Chicken Out! website which allows you to let up to five friends at once know about the campaign: to go straight there, click here.

Helen, we got to taste 2 different versions of ragu, one traditional (bolgnese) and one with mascarpone, which was yummy. Also, a cherry & chocolate cake and a chocolate Italian fridge cake. I didn’t try the choc cake as it wasn’t GF but the kirsch soaked cherries were gooood :)
