Hi Linda, I'm not sure why you've been advised this. Onions are the basis of flavour in many dishes so I wouldn't make a stew without them. I can't see any reason not to include them. Did your advisor give you a reason?

Dropped here searching for images for my daughter's homework. I'm from Peru, and just wish to make a little precision about the lemon juice we use here for many dishes. I've been to London almost 30 years ago and don't remember having tasted a lemon there. The most common varieties are sweet, but our lemons are very acid (like in another few places in the world), and that brings a "special touch" when talking about flavors (it even allows cooking of raw fish in our traditional "seviche"). So, I just wish to warn you about the lemon: if lemons in England aren't as acid as ours, maybe the taste of your causa could be different (though you can bet your great photograph could make anyone hungry).

Thanks for this informative article on Manuka Honey. I've been using it for about a week now, it was recommended to me by a friend, who knew a bit of it's healing properties, to help with my skin. I cannot tell you how much of a difference it has already made, it's absolutely amazing.

I had a million tiny little bumps on my face and I could never figure out if it was a bacterial issue or a fungal issue. I don't like to take medication for anything, so I've been looking for a holistic or dietary change to cure it. I've tried so many things in the past, eliminating foods, eating weird things, taking various supplements, drinking special teas, colon hydrotherapy, cleansing, etc etc etc. I've been battling this for a couple of years!!! So far this Manuka Honey has shown me the fastest results of anything else I've tried. It's not completely gone yet, but greatly improved. And as a side note, I've also noticed it helps in my digestion/elimination of waste.

I recommend trying Manuka Honey for anyone who has skin issues. I'm sure you've tried a million other things! What's the harm in trying this cure? Plus it's delicious!!

Hugh F.W. has mentioned the desirability of farmers with spare bits of land to get involved. An excellent idea, and,to 'sweeten the
pill' would it not be a reinforcing factor to allow the farmers
teetering on the verge,to supply the necessary ancillaries to help
aspiring gardeners so they can buy their composts or bean poles or
whatever,on site. There may be many folk who's lack of mobility
would be ammeliorated by not having to carry 'stuff'to and fro.

The stove cooker serves as a big price but what's even better is at the other end of the line, a help to support a greater cause is served.. Let's start cooking..

Hi there
I have been using the asda green tea that you recommended for a long time now. Unfortunately they have just stopped stocking it and I wondered if you know of any other stockists.
Hoping to hear from you
