I said the ‘C’ word!!! Yes indeed, there are 47 shopping days left until Christmas but I have to admit I’m not feeling particularly seasonal yet. However, I’m sure that’s all about to change as I’ll be going to the Spirit of Christmas Fair tomorrow. This years SoC Fair is being held at Olympia London from today through to Sunday 11 November. Not only will there exhibitors and demonstrations for your every seasonal need, but it is also a foodies’ paradise!
One of highlights of this year’s fair is the Spirit of Christmas food Hall, a virtual seventh heaven for all those who love fine wine, delicious and unusual ingredients. The Hall will offer visitors a dedicated area full of inspirational foods from Britain’s finest homegrown produce to a selection of the best goods from around the globe.
British exhibitors include:
The Cornish Cheese Company - award winning handmade cheeses designed to be eaten young and with a unique taste and character.
Inverawe Smokehouse - based on the banks of Loch Awe in Argyll, this smokehouse produces a full range of the very best smoked salmon and smoked trout products.
Snowdonia Cheese - With British Cheese Awards and World Cheese Awards to their credit, the company produce different flavoured and different strength Cheddars.
These are just a few of the exhibitors attending, there’s much, much more including French fairs and the Festival of Chocolate, which of course I’ll be making a bee-line for!!
